Animal Nutrition and Feed Science Team
Principal Investigator: Zheng Chuntian, Research Fellow / Ph.D.
The team includes 11 core members. The research field focuses on swine and poultry nutrition and feed science. The team has won 1 second-class prize of State Scientific and Technological Progress Award and 6 first-class prizes of Ministerial and Provincial-Level Science and Technology Awards. The team established the nutrient requirements for pigs, yellow-feathered chickens, and egg-laying ducks in China, which provides the basis for the feed formulation of farm animals and birds in China. They published about 300 papers during the last five years.
